Maybe he doesn't have a cech-3xxx, maybe he's trying to convince others with cech-3xxx to try it because "it might work for them" & then laugh at the people that bricked their console.

It's possible but unlilkely that there are cech-3xxx that somehow have metldr rather than metldr2, without the motherboard being swapped.

Try your CFW. If it installs, then I do not understand how you made it through.

The first 3 tries it freeze after that i get SUCESS and it turned off after some seconds, now it boots up like normal?

Like I said, take a picture of the back of the console to be sure, and then try to install the CFW.

It's hard to say, your PS3 shouldn't have even made it that far.

I'd say at best your PS3 simply didn't load the exploit properly and installing CFW will just fail like it does mine.
At worst, your PS3 could be a ticking time bomb, any time you turn it on that wrong file could brick the system.

An odd thing happened, my memory stick doesnt work after this hack???? cant get it to work in my computer

Or else the other million people with 3k models would have installed CFW within the past 7 years! Please bare in mind, going to the website and running the nor write, this is the same as a flasher. You just don’t have to take your console apart. That will work. Installing CFW will either say it was a success, when you power off. You will have a black screen (brick) or it will fail during the install. If you don’t care, then install the CFW and prepare to have a paperweight

i downloaded the app, then installed it, then run it, then nothing happened.
the game is still not full.
