Is there any firmware past 6.6 on psp 1000 or 2000? Im thinking of buying one and i just saw if 6.61 or above, the hack probably wouldnt work. Just wondering what the latest firmware is so far
There is none. For a while I was just updating the firmware number to account for new updates, then Sony stopped working on the PSP.Is there any firmware past 6.6 on psp 1000 or 2000? fully-hackable = all 1000er and all 2000er models (can use Pandora)
semi-hackable = all 3000er = PSP model TA-088v3 and above (with TA-090 v1 being an exception) (can't use Pandora)
Where do I download ↑this↑ particular homebrew?
- Q - How do I run homebrew?
A - Homebrew will be named EBOOT.PBP and should be inside their own folder in /PSP/GAME/ like so.
/PSP/GAME/Random Porn Game v28/EBOOT.PBP
Nothing has changed, really - the recommended firmware is still 6.20 PRO + Perm Patch or 6.60 PRO + Fast Recovery, depending on how you roll. Make sure to charge your SIXAXIS controller fully before connecting it to the system - that's the only piece of advice I can give you. What would the recommended CFW's be for a PSP 3000 and a PSP go?
I've noticed that with ProC on my go, while I thankfully don't have the problems where it refuses to load any PSN/PSX games like ProC2 is wont to do, it does currently seem like it would periodically just... not receive any input from the paired SixAxis controller I have setup for it. I'm wondering if it's a bug with the firmware, or if it would be my controller? Annoyingly, that is the only one I could really spare to give it, as the others are set up for the other PS3 systems in the house.
