Gaming psp phat trouble updating new CFW

Ello.
SO I dusted off my psp Phat I have, and I wanted to update it.

I have it flashed with 5.50 GEN-B (Full)
and I have read that the newest one is 5.50 GEN-D (prometeus) something..

I have download 5.50 GEN-C from the guide on this GUIDE

and when I try to run it on my psp, I get a black screen :S
any clues?

It should all be in filetrip.net
Search for hellcats recovery flasher, gen d3 pack for hellcats recovery flasher and 5.50 Prometheus

If there's anything missing, we'll just link it to you.
