Homebrew Emulator R4 card pokemon transfer

I just recently put gba runner 2 on my r4 card and played ruby on it and I was wondering if there is any way to transfer the pokemon from ruby to any ds game.

You might be able to do it with an emulator on PC, I'm not sure the details but looks like melonDS can at least from a quick search.

On console you can use pkmn-chest as long as you're okay with using external tools, transfers forward in generation (3 to 4, 3 to 5, etc) should always be identical to transferring with the real games.
