I skimmed through the instructions, but didn't find it, so I just want to make sure... this works with the disc?! Also, is it possible to remove those weird labels before the song names? [RB1] etc. I don't care if it messes up playing with other people with RSD on WiFi. Thank you so much for making this!

One thing that I've run into is I have to reformat my SD card every time I want to put new songs on it, or the DLC list won't update correctly in the games. Not a big issue once I get a card big enough to put all the customs on.
Also, would it be passible to make the RawkSD installer into a channel so I don't have to swap cards during the installation.

it only works with the disc, actually.QUOTEAlso, is it possible to remove those weird labels before the song names? [RB1] etc.
they are weird, aren't they? i mean, they are so cryptic and all.

when you import the songs on the pc side, look down at the bottom of the app window and you'll see the default prefix option, simply remove it.

That's awesome! Then the pirates actually have to buy the game, but we still get the RB1 importer that Harmonix failed to provide! Thank you very much. Gonna try this now.

Alright, I love the progress made on this whole thing and I'd love to check it all out but I'm waiting until this works with USB loaders.
We're not going to fix it because it's not broken. Go talk to the USB loader people about fixing their shit.

This program rocks when it worked for me lol it has stopped working completely now no mater how hard i try,i have narrowed the problem i believe to the wii installer its self. I think it is not putting the right files on my sd card needed to install the songs. Keep getting error with save file being either corrupt or missing, then it deletes the file and saids i need to use the installer again or have not used it yet on the wii. so i do and then its back to the same message, lucky me. any help is welcome to solve this problem

you'd be waiting forever in that case because there's no way to make rb2 support sdhc cards (unless they modified the game's code)

Has anyone got this working with backups? At all?

YUP! I'm going to assume you're talking about backup discs, and not off a hard drive. Install cIOSCORPS 37 to boot the game from the disc channel and it will load customs.

Backups also work with RawkSD if you have a modchip installed.

Great program but I have a problem that I don't think has been mentioned. My Wii is patched (4.0U) and can install the custom songs. When I select the custom song to play it starts loading and gives me an error that says the licence for the song was deleted from the Wii and I have to re-download the song.

All of my DLC works fine but the custom songs don't. I've tried making the custom song with two different MP3 files in case it was a DRM issue. Same problem. D:

There are no plans to add SDHC support.

Rock Band 2 will be out in europe soon, that should have SDHC support out of the box. If not, then lets hope Rock Band Beattles supports DLC.

Has anyone else noticed that the leaderboards work for the customs?
As a matter of fact, they have.

Why isn't Rawkboard announced in the first post? This app seems very good! Just one thing, why can't I see the score for the song creep for RB1? I've tried both IDs "creep" and [rb1]creep and couldn't get any score for any instrument! Is this normal? Or I just misunderstood what this app is supposed to do?

Anyway, both RawkSD and Rawkboard need a good site with a neat download section, clear tutorials and a news section. It would be better and more convenient that this forum IMO.
Oh and BTW, do you think it would be possible to make a Wii build of Rawkboard?

To import the IDs for your custom songs use Import Song Data and point it at your RawkSD customs directory. The songs you have imported should then show in the song drop down box.

If you want to view the scores on the wii why not just use RB2?

Yeah I got it working I'm so dumb sometimes!
Yay 1st on Creep on vocals!!!

I didn't know custom songs add their score added to the leaderboard too... (though re-reading the forums made me realise that they did.)

Thanks for the help and keep up the good work (I'll add my FC to your database now!)
