Eventually, this isn't even a custom

It's a song from the disc, I haven't figured out the format yet. But once I do, yes, a guide and the tools will be released.

You can FC songs?! Nice, I can't. You know why? Harmonix makes terrible instruments!

I always get like 99% because my drums crap out...

And since I'm in Canada, I can't RMA my RB1 set for an RB2 set

Good Stuff, ive been following wii customs since the start of GH3 but needs me some rb2 customs.
Has replacing DLC with DLC been solved then or is it still an issue like RB1 "on disc" customs?
And if you were to replace the chosen DLC with another song using the wad channel, does it duplicate the song or merely overwrite the other version? Im hoping duplicate but thatd be too easy!! Hopefully duplication will be to come in the future for infinite new songs on SD.

Just open the DLC file, and replace the song files...or is it more complicated?

They could, but the goal is to bring about custom songs, not just pirate what's available, so you're on your own there.

Frankly I'd hope no one starts distributing dlc wads because then it'd attract more attention to the tools we'd be using for custom songs.

On topic - nice work so far MrK! The next step is fully modified songs (e.g. figuring the headers out and changing the dta), then reducing all the crazy stuff you need to install to get things to run.

I was wondering, what would happen if you were to upload your high score to "Rock Central"? Would it send the hacked or correct artist/song and would the score be accepted if it were impossibly high?

I couldn't unpack the 0.app file

I used a hex editor to just edit the text

Yeah Hopefully. For a while we might be stuck using the free DLC
