I'm using FireFox and feel the need to use a download manager. My choices so far are: Interent Download Manager, Flashget(Through FlashGot) and Orbit Downloader.

The former is a retail Download Manager, but if its worth the bucks, I will have no qualms in acquiring it. Flashget is free and is an all rounder in my opinion. Orbit Downloader is a manager packed with features.

I'm looking for a manager that packs the best download speeds, is rich in features, compatible with FireFox (pretty obvious but just in case), and is compatible with a wide range of download sites (MegaUpload, Rapidshare, MedaFire et cetera)

What do you recommend? Thanks

I use free download manager. i like it has some cool features like searching web sites from any remote server via HTTP, HTTPS and FTP. Download video from video sites, such as Youtube, Google Video, etc. Built-in Upload Manager lets you upload your files easily to share them with other people. You can also download files using BitTorrent protocol. Oh yeah and it is free.

If you use keepvid.com you sometimes get the option of downloading higher quality avi and mp4 versions. That's usually from sites like veoh and googlevideo tho (not sure about youtube)
