I was planning to buy a EVGA 512-P1-N402-LR GeForce 6200 512MB DDR2 PCI 2.1 Graphics Card & was stopping by here to make sure it would work with a Intel D865GBF motherboard. I found documentation that my board supports pci 2.2. So would this work or did I miss something? It's my first time buying a graphics card & I wanna make sure I won't be running into problems hardware wise.

It said "Support for PCI Local Bus specification revision 2.2" so I assumed it would work.

Also make sure your PSU is up to the job. I encountered power problems when trying to upgrade from a GeForce 6 series to a GeForce 8 series card.

Don't waste your money by buying that card because its VERY OLD AND CRAP. Save that money towards a new PC.
