Hacking Rock Band 3 usb instruments (keys, pro guitar) with a USB loader?

Has anyone been able to play Rock Band 3 with a usb instrument (the keys or the drums or anything) with a USB loader? If so, what cIOS worked for you? Cuz I want to get a Mustang controller (the plastic guitar with the 100+ buttons) and I want to be able to play as soon as I get it, so I want to install anything needed beforehand.

I can play RB3 with cIOS249 base IOS56, but all my instruments work with wiimotes so I don't know if USB instruments would work.

Well Haven't played RB3 but For RB2 what I used was hermes cIOS 222 on IOS38 (I Believe) but in order to plug in more then 1 usb device your going to need a USB hub with its own power source, other then that it should work fine.

I asked a similar question a while back and XFlak provided me with this:

"try configurable usb-loader but use cIOS249v20[56] or cIOS223v4[37+38], also make sure the usb device is plugged in before launching the game (I've heard that sometimes makes a difference)"

cIOS249v20 worked like a charm with the keyboard usb dongle hub thingy; even with the mic attached. It's even worked as a usb hub for multiple mics on some Disney singing game that the girls were playing when I got home tonight.

I've got only mic but with 249 r20 base 56 it doesn't work. Only when I installed 249r20 base 57 everythig is fine. Two mics through chinese, crap-like USB Hub
(cLoader and GX)
