Tried on UK DSi to update to 1.5 , no update message showing yet means apparently no 1.5 update by Nintendo yet, atleast in the UK

Guys who keep asking: It works just like the Wii. If you don't have a Wii, then I'll tell you how it works.

It always tells you it can update, but that doesn't mean it's a new update. It searches for an update first, and if you have the current update, it tells you.

Another way to test if the firmware has been updated is to try and access the DSi shop.
