Hi, last night I tried to upgrade using the dstwoupdateb.dat method, but it failed. Now the card isn't recognised in any of the 4 DS that I have (2 DS Lite, 1 DSi and 1 3DS).

I've cleaned the pins, checked the screw, tried the dstwo_load_NDSL.nds method on a DS Lite with different SD cards, all formatted and checked to work with other flashcards.

Checking the card with wooddumper, it says that the card id is 0x7ff7ffff, so clearly something has been erased that wont let dstwo_load_NDSL.nds do it's job (maybe it's searching for a different car d id?).

So, is there anything that can be done? Thanks =)

dstwo_load_NDSL.nds never gets past the "press B". I've swapped the cards without pressing any buttons and loaded it with 3 different flashcards (R4, DSTTi and DS-Xtreme) on 2 different DSLite, but it never does anything.

Yes, the SD card is completely new, formatted with SDFormatter and only contains the latest firmware (dstwoupdate.dat) and the latest EOS (_dstwo & ds2boot.dat), all on the main directory of the SD. I've also tried with different SD cards, from 2GB to 16GB, some are SDHC and some are normal. Same thing happens everytime.

Hmmm, still nothing. It seems the card is completely dead.

Could it be that dstwo_load_NDSL.nds checks for a specific card id, and since mine is corrupt, it thinks it's another flashcard and that's why it wont do anything?

well that is specifically made to fix this problem
the only reason i can think of it not is if you flashed it and tried to boot without deleting the file B and then turning off straight away
