I have tried numerous sources for ROMS. Most of the games work fine when I run them the first time. However I am getting a Exception (DSI) occurred error at least 50% of the time when exiting a game and switching to a new game. It freezes my Wii or just skips the error and sends me to the homescreen. Its very aggravating. Please any help would be appreciated. I am on the lastest version of sdlmame and homebrew and my wii is 4.3.

The error is appearing only in sdlmame? And not elsewhere? If so, it could be an bug/issue with the software.

No only sdlmame. I have not64, fceugx, snes9x, vbagx, nintendont, usbloadergx, atari2600, and genplusgx all working fine not doing this to me. Wii64 would occasionally do it while using boxart so I switched to not64.

MAME Wii 1.0 is somewhat a little unstable when switching ROMs. Damn, that version also sucks because it is not compatible with newer Wiimotes, has a little rom limit (150) and it doesn't have WiiFlow support...

Better try using my mod of SDL MAME Wii 0.6.0, it doesn't have that crash you mention.

How to install my mod of SDL MAME Wii 0.6.0:

1. Download and extract to your SD card all the required files of SDL MAME Wii 0.6.0: https://storage.googleapis.com/goog....google.com/sdl-mame-wii/sdlmame-wii-v0.6.zip
2. Download my mod of SDL MAME Wii 0.6.0 with 10K games limit, newer Wiimote support, and WiiFlow support here: https://gbatemp.net/threads/unoffic...wiimote-wiiflow-10k-games-support-mod.637592/
3. Replace the original boot.dol of SDL MAME Wii 0.6.0 (on apps/sdlmamewii/) with the new boot.dol of my mod.
4. Boot it from HBC, and profit!

Hope this help you ;)

Should I rename the "powerpc-eabi-mamemini.dol" that you provided to "boot.dol"?

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
