Hacking Snes9xGX not running (3.2E, Starfall, HBC)

Hiya there. I got a little problem getting Snes9x to run again. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I was using Snes9xGX Rev 005 with my 3.3E Wii, no problems.
I hadn't been using it for quite some time, and recently I downgraded to 3.2E and installed Starfall.

Now I just tried booting up Snes9xGX, and it didn't work. The screen turns black, the controller is disconnected, and nothing happens.

o I am using the latest Homebrew channel
o I tried the latest Snes version (Rev 008, I believe), get the same problem
o All gamecube equipment is unplugged
o All files are properly named and in the right place.
o All other homebrew applications work just fine.
o I have reformatted the SD card and tried again. Sill the same problem.

I strongly believe it has something to do with starfall. : /
Can anyone confirm? Does anyone know what to do? Does Snes9xGX simply not work on a starfalled Wii?

So it's not starfall then. Maybe the latest update of the HBC?

does anyone know where to get rtool because all my snes roms are the wrong format and i cant find anyway to change them

Do you have DVDx? For some reason, that stops the emulator from working. Just uninstall it and it should work again.
Well that worked for me anyway.

acording to wiibrew my roms are in the wrong format they say to download rtool but i coudnt find it (and yes i did search google) unless anyone else knows of a tool to shange snes rom format?

Anyone with an NTSC region Wii have this problem? I dont, but it seems everyone who has this problem has a PAL Wii...
