The information presented there is incorrect; Bootmii only uses a fakesigned TMD, and his screencaps show Tickets. Additionally the "33 1C E1 2E" Ticket (which he has labelled "Bootmii Cert (fakesigned)") belongs to boot2v4 and has nothing to do with Bootmii.

Fakesigned TMDs or Tickets are normally easily recognizable because they start with 00 01 00 01 followed by 256 zeroes.

Even if that is true, you can't uninstall bootmii as boot2 without installing bootmii as IOS (since it installs during the Scam Warning screen). Doesn't that still leave info on the install itself? I can't deny that my knowledge is very limited on this subject, so I could be completely wrong. If I am, I would appreciate more info on it.

Yes, you have to uninstall Bootmii as boot2 and then uninstall Bootmii as IOS (after which the installer will reboot the wii). The traces left behind by the Bootmii IOS are harmless because it's also an official IOS; it's supposed to be on your wii if you've got the latest update (and performing an online update will restore the "official" stub if you're really paranoid about it).

Neither the simplest or safest. If you want to do it effectively so that Nintendo can't tell, use the link that XFlak gave to create a virgin NAND.
