Supercard DSTWO update bypasses new protection

It didn't take long for the Supercard Team to release an update for their Supercard DSTWO. Less than a day after Nintendo issued a new firmware for the DSi blocking most flashcarts, a fix for the Supercard DSTWO has been located on the (chinese) Supercard forums, and it has been confirmed to work on regular english Supercards by several members of our community.

It has taken Nintendo more than one year to give a crappy incomplete security update.

And less than one day for supercard team to make their flashcart work again.

Nintendo should hire supercard developer.

This new DSTWO firmware certainly offer "behind-the-scene" improvements.

.... I might be trying to get a SCDS2 now ._. I go mess up with the system update section then accident pressed update, I afraid to switch off the power immediately as I don't want my DSi to be bricked T-T

it would seem tht their DS APs arent tht good but their wii updates take some time to get bypassed... the more complex the system i guess (PS3)

I love it, the DS Two appears to be firmware proof, whilst the Acekard needs to be manually reflashed on a working system, and the M3i Zero has to use that crappy little USB cable.

Hopefully Acekard will come out with a flash this week. Probably not, since they don't even pay attention to their official firmware, but a person can hope.

Didn't the Acekard team release an official kernel update not long ago? Not AKAIO, but the AK team?

I'm sure if they're even slightly active, they'll try and update the cart. Especially now they know it's possible. But even if they don't, someone in the 'community' will try for us.

I can't speak for everyone, but that SCDSTWO is certainly looking more and more awesome every day!
