Transfer Saves from PS3 to PS2

The purpose of this tutorial is to convert saves from a virtual PS3 Internal Memory Card to a physical PS2 Memory Card, using a Windows PC (without a PS3 Memory Card Adapter).

In order to complete this tutorial, the PS2 needs to be running FMCB to retrieve the save with uLaunchELF. Also, a USB storage device is used to copy the save from the PS3, to the PC, to the PS2.

PS3 [Virtual Memory Card] >> USB >> PC >> USB >> PS2 (FMCB) >> PS2 Memory Card

1. PS3, XMB
  • Insert USB into PS3
  • Select: Memory Card Utility >> (PS2) Internal Memory Card >>

2. PC, PSV Save Converter
  • Insert USB into PC
  • Drag and Drop .PSV onto .EXE to make .PSU

3. PS2, uLaunchELF
  • Insert USB into PS2
  • Copy .PSU from USB (mass:/ )
  • psuPaste .PSU to memory card (mc0:/ , mc1:/ )

    @Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.

    I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
