I hate how the pedophilia phenomenon is so widespread nowadays, it is a great enabler of various moral panics (anti-LGBT, anti-fiction, anti-etc.)

I think people like that should seek immediate help and should not be allowed to be open about it to not traumatize victims of pedophilia (although at the same time society is shaming any sort of disorder help, so it does not do any good and they resort to crimes)

the problem is they treat it only as a crime (that i get) but it's also a problem that needs treatment as well or offenders wiil repeat it a cycle of criminal act and incarceration with no help to break that endless loop
