So I followed the https://wiiu.hacks.guide/#/vwii-modding?id=installing-cioses Guide but my Western Digital HDD, which works with ULGX on my original Wii isn't being recognized on my vWii. Instead, it's just frozen at "reinitializing devices".
I tried using d2x cIOS Installer to install the cIOS but I notice that the guide doesn't explain what to do on the slot chart after selecting the cIOS. The guide also doesn't mention whether the d2x installer is supposed to be online or offline because the cIOS's are not installing at all.
All other guides I've found are over a year old, asking me to install older cIOS's (Beta52) that don't appear on the current version (Beta1). Offline method guides are only for the Wii and I've read that the Wii U requires installing different cIOS's, but no online guides are available for that.
