Hello,

So i am that one person on earth trying to use Visual Studio Community 2022 for homebrew GBA development. I am using the 'Makefile Project' template for this.
The only issue i ran into is the fact that i cant figure out how to make VS 2022 run the build using a custom program (like mGBA.exe) after it built the program.

At this stage, when i press F5, it makes the .gba file properly, and then tries to open the .gba file, as if it was an windows .exe file and gives the following error message;
"
Unable to start program
'P:\ath\to\my\rom.gba'

P:\ath\to\my\rom.gba is not a valid Win32 application.
"

I was wondering if anyone knows how to make VS 2022 use a custom program to boot the debug instead of trying to open it as a windows application?

    Kind of useless now considering my cat probably has a wifi chip inside it

    I guess it's useful if your landlord doesn't let you rewire the apartment or change the switches.

    Smart plugs and bulbs are already around the same price

    Having a remote servo that can push/pull something for you is still useful.

    It could operate a latch.

    On the other hand there are those chandeliers with like 50 lightbulbs and that would be a bit expensive to replace with smart bulbs.

    Anbernic's SP clone will be $60 and I think I'll buy it. Looks decent enough and it will stop me from drooling over every single new handheld that comes out.

    I love the GBA SP and this is the GBA SP on steroids. WiFi, Bluetooth, HDMI out, two microSD card slots, sleep mode on screen close, it has everything :D
