I’ll spare the back story but I’m not getting 3.3v and I was wondering where I should start looking? F7002 and F7003 area are fine (I’ve just fixed shorts on both of these) if you have images then that’s even better, thanks!
not true, edm020 differs from edm010. f7002 area no longer generates 3.3vFrom my point of view the 3,3V from F7002 powering Southbridge and the WiFi Module.
Southbridge is fine and so is the WiFi IC. Do you know where I should check? Or at least start?not true, edm020 differs from edm010. f7002 area no longer generates 3.3v
Sorry. Correct, near that you will only find 1.8V for WiFi Module. 3.3V is from the backside directly behind this and is connected to 5V Standby.not true, edm020 differs from edm010. f7002 area no longer generates 3.3v
There is an IC on the back of the HDMI encoder. I had a board where the input and output of this IC was not shorted but defect. Then I got only 2.4V on some mearurements of the 3.3VSouthbridge is fine and so is the WiFi IC. Do you know where I should check? Or at least start?
Is there any chance you could send a picture of exactly what I’m supposed to be checking? I’m not exactly a noob with motherboard repairs, but this is my 1st PS5Sorry. I have just fit a new wifi module, would this be the issue? There’s no shorts or anything around the south bridgeFrom my point of view the 3,3V from F7002 powering Southbridge and the WiFi Module.
