Duplicate What up with white box between them?

I click it and it some sort of open file. What up with white box like that? It wasn't there before. How can I fix it?

If I post wrong thread, then please move to right thread for me.

Probably just a glitch. We have been having some server issues lately. Or maybe your upload privileges have been revoked!

I have that white box too, it is a small flash player window if you right click on it.

I "fixed" it by blocking the window with Ublock Origin.

I do not use that upload button anyway

EDIT: now that I removed it the stock Upload a File button appears again, but I can't use it as I get a permission error.

I remembering it used to say "Upload a File" and the button still works. In another thread the button doesn't work: You do not have premission to view this page or preform this action

yes, it's the upload button, which is actually a small Flash applet.
some browsers will now disable Flash, or enable it on demand, which is why you are seeing a blank square.
you have the following options:
- re-enable flash by default on your browser
- re-enable flash by default on gbatemp (if your browser allows it)
- hide the element with an element blocker as suggested above
- ignore it altogether
- wait until we upgrade Xenforo and get rid of the flash uploader
