Hacking why is ssbb 8 gigs?

ok so i was going to make a backup for ssbb and i noticed the download was 8 gigs... isint a dvd like 4?

If you're only choice is to put it on a DVD, you can look around for a DVD5 version of the game that won't have the story mode in it, but will fit on a normal 4.7GB disc.

You can either find the dvd5 version online, or a patch, or edit it yourself. The dvd5 version has all the sse movies taken out (other than one that plays every.) If you want to watch them, you can find the videos online.

the game in question is actually 6.98 gb of actual data. the rest is just padding. the reason that it is so large is that it's that it has a large amount of cinematics. various cut scenes take up alot of space and thats why it's the size it is, which is the answer to the original question.
