Hi all new to this

Im getting totally lost reading all these different threads / dummy guides.

I have upgraded firmware to 3.4

Installed homebrew channel using the twighlight hack v.01 beta 2

Thats as far as i have got

i have watched video on how to do games and have done that but it wont recognise or launch my games?

i went into wad manager and tried installing IOS16-64-v257.wad it installed in about 1 second just said finished.

When i then went to run cios_fix.wad but i got the error "installing WAD ticket error 2011"

And from there im lost i have read on this forum about downgrading firmware to 3.2 which someone replied saying it worked but no link or description of how he did it.

Am i beyond help of how to get my kids playing backups?

I have read about loader etc and am lost

Any Help would be MUCH appreciated

Thanks in Advance

Mods: Sorry if this is wrong section feel free to delete and slap me wrists but please dont ban me untill i get help lol.

I keep reading about that if u play a certain genuine game it may update your wii causing a brick?

if this true or is there a way to stop it

Does the game you before it updates or does it just do it.

to prevent the updates you have to brick block your isos OR downgrade to 3.2 and install starfall.

starfall will prevent any game disc from updating regardless of the iso being brick blocked or not

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.
