Hacking Wii only has 500 blocks?

I only have the homebrew channel, everyone votes, internet channel, check mii out channel, and the photo channel installed on my wii, with lots of saves.

But it's showing I only have 504 blocks free? I need to know how to free up a bunch of blocks. I know the saves can be deleted, but I have one that shows as blank, and when I try to exit the saves menu it freezes, so I can't even fix it, at least IDK how.

Please help! Could it be I have IOS for Europe/Japan installed on the wii from games with updates? I've had to use the dupe channel remover before.

IDK what else to do. I know there should be a lot more space then that. I'm on waninkoko's updated 4.0u

Internet channel + Save take up at least 400 blocks on their own. SSBB takes up over 100, MKWii takes up well over 50, etc. Just delete (or backup) a bunch of saves.

Well how much does a Wii generally have w/o the internet channel? Better yet, how much does a virgin 4.0 wii have on it? Round about?

Photo Channel 1.1 takes up a lot as well. I deleted that since I never use it and the 1.0 version is still there, but I have a bunch more blocks now.

yeah i also got out of space with what i thought was nothing... it's awesome to have the sd loading in 4.0 now

Hrm, 500? You have plenty of room compared to me. With that much, you could fit still several (small VC/WiiWare) titles on.

the thing is though, the wii starts with over 2000 blocks, I want to know where all my blocks are at.

I have 2170 blocks free on a clean ish

3.4 upgraded to 4.0

i think 2170 is the max the ios will show as free

removing photo channel/news/weather

didnt add any extra free space



oh tickets for 215 wads is around 30 blocks as well
so allways remember to do a full uninstall not just delete in the wii

Use Any Title Deleter if it's possible on 4.0 to delete some unwanted saves and/or channels...!!
