Homebrew Wiiware, VC and Homebrew Forwarder ISO's

Why is the cfg stuff in step 3 even there? This is just leftover from the GX forwarder. It is completely useless for what you are doing. also if the config files are still in the source, they are useless. what you are telling it to do is look on the SD card for instructions on where to find another dol, but you are actually booting something completely different. Do you really expect that it will ever find a cfg file for HBC or any other app really telling it for another spot to look for a dol? Anything that has to do with opening a config or parsing a config or wiping you ass with a config can be gone.

I'm guessing you're a firm believer in 'tough love', eh?

Anyways, hopefully one of the loaders will actually incorporate emulated NAND loading soon, and NONE of this will be necessary. Would certainly move that loader up the ladder a bit. Heck, they might even get it done before Jiiwah gets his tutorial up.

That big fat tutorial relates to homebrew applications, does it not? The fact that there is a post reserved for instructions to create VC/WW ISO's would lead most to believe the steps are different. Instead of running behind everyone pointing out their mistakes, maybe you could instead step up to the plate and help out by providing a comprehensive tutorial yourself. And then if people choose to ignore that you can be as condescending as you wish. You yourself have already stated that there are mistakes and/or unnecessary steps in that big fat tutorial, even if it did work for VC/WW...

I made a quick cover for Jiwah's Ocarina of Time NTSC-U forwarder (I just took a OoT Wallpaper and the back of the N64 game box and added a Wii Template). I still haven't gotten it running yet on my console because I don't know if OoT has to be on a NAND backup on an SD or USB Hard Drive or it can be used from the real NAND (which I tried and couldn't get working on my 4.2U console).

Thanks, but can you update it with Spayrosam's template and do it for PAL and NTSC and I'll put on my post.

shop channel uses IOS61, you should of just used NUS to pack the v18 shop channel and new IOS61 wads

this installer is supposed to download the latest vesrion of IOS60 , which is actually a stub.
And i guess you were still on 4.0 or 4.1 , so instant brick a reboot of the wii......
