I apologize for this being more of a question or request, but it's got me going insane.

I understand it's possible to reduce the bloom in Wind Waker (and Twilight Princess?) Via Cemu.

Looking at the files for Cemu, it seems these are text settings that Cemu can interpret for the bloom effect. I don't believe these settings can be ported to console.

As we have come a long way on the Wii U, from browser-loadiine, mocha, haxchi, and others ; Would it be out of the realn of possibility to edit the settings on hardware for WWHD? Whether it's through the use of SDCaffeine or just replacing the installed digital files. (SDCaffeine seems more likely.)

I'll admit I have little to no knowledge besides applying XDelta patches and extremely minor hex editing, so maybe I'm asking for the impossible, and I'm way over my head. But from my understanding, WWHD uses a similar (if not the same) file system as NGC Wind Waker.

If I could figure out where the bloom is inside the game's data, I'd take a swing at it myself, just to say I tried.

Thanks in advance for any info, tidbits, or whatever :)

some of the best selling games on the switch are wii u ports (that are priced way too high
like come on 60 for a game thats a decade old??)

@ColdBlitz, i forgot breath of the wild released for the Wii u
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
$60 for a game that's a decade old might be unheard of on PC but actually is not uncommon on consoles

especially Nintendo because they only ever lower the price of games when they do a greatest hits/platinum hits/players choice re-release
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@The Real Jdbye, and the HD collections released for 7th gen consoles too
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but they don't seem to have done any of those for the switch yet and maybe never will
  • ColdBlitz @ ColdBlitz:
I think we all forgot breath of the wild released for the wii u tbh

@The Real Jdbye, tbh the HD collections are more justified since they include more than just 1 game per copy
