@jnl1 Gooooooood question
I don't know, like I said this is a first draft, I only know it works on handled and docked of normal use
Have no clues about reverse-nx, but as it doesn't require oc, why using reverse-nx, I did not even unlocked "max framerate" so you won't be upper 30fps (this may be tested in the next version).
Cheers

Back with news
After adjustments, I share tonight a second version of the mod
- Screen Space Reflection added
- Screen Space Ambiant Occlusion added
- Retone
- Anti anliasing from FXAA to TAA
- Filtering from anisotropic to trilinear (barely noticiable but ressources reductions)
- Slight sharpen

I enjoyed a lot to mod a game, I'll try another one (but I don't know which one yet, if you have a clue) before finishing the modding tutorial.

Thanks to @masagrator for his help

Thank you very much, looks really great!
You're welcome, what really looks different is the colorimetry (don't know if this work exist ?), I still have to optimise ambiant occlusion to be less diffuse but globally, the game looks way less desaturated, more vibrant.
I would like so much having a PC setting file because I feel like some options could be added and the previous ones being more accurately set up.
The v2 version isn't definitive, I'll try tomorrow to share the v3, more optimized.
PS: whatever I do, it is impossible to unlock 30fps because of the engine, nothing to do with overclocking or whatever.

Hi, I just put my hand on a PC config file, I won't share the v3 tonight.
I'd like to try some settings allowing a more better optimisation
Cheers

what did you change with regards to V2? I compared the title-screen and it looks nearly identical.

Yes, you are right, the title screen is identical, not the game.
If you remember, trees were becoming more accurate close to the car (lod), now, trees become clearer further from the car.
I also changed SSAO to be closer to object (decals) with less opacity.
SSR is more accurate and now reflect more objects on the car with optimised threshold.
Try a race with weather conditions changing, saturation effect become more realistic thank to retone.
Static shadows appears slightly further.
I'm still trying to enable wind effect on trees without increasing to much ressources.
Actually, v3 is an accurate optimisation of the v2 with adding of PC settings regarding switch config possibility, if you open the settings.cfg, you will notice some (--mod --def non existant) lines which weren't present in the switch config file. They allowed me to modify pre-existent switch settings more accurately and effectively.

thanks for the explanation.
I do not mind overclocking my GPU frequency more than 460, so you can easily create a setting which uses more ressources ;)

    @Xdqwerty, Yeah, I'd recommend having another OS just in-case you want to play games.

    At least Linux doesn't contain spyware than what Windows has.

    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    @Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

    I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

    Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

    @SylverReZ,
    I also recall my brother downloded a "non bloated" version of windows 11 on his pc

    @Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.
