Zorua/Zoroark Event (Pkm BW English ver.) tutorial

If you are using desmume or unable to get your relocator working on your ds,well you can do this method to unlock the Zorua and Zoroark event in your Pokemon Black and White. At first,I got the GameStop pkm files and I put them into my save file without modifying anything but it didn't work. So,I checked the internet and found out that the pkm files need to be modified so that the pokemon summaries look like this:

I think the reason is that the relocator had modified the pkm files so that the events can be unlocked as you can't unlock them by normal trading. So,you must get the relocator before unlocking the events!

Now For The Tutorial
First, download this modified pkm files.Open up your Pokesav and load your pokemon save file(there is a tutorial for this). Then, click the edit button under the storage title and choose an empty box.Load all the pkm files from the folder above and click save.Reset your game then go to files>Import backup memory and select the modified save file.Yay!You have the event pokemon!Just like using the relocator!

Getting Zorua
Take out celebi and put it in the first slot of your party.Go to Castelia City.Go to the street beside the pokemon center and enter the Game Freak building. Then talk to the silent boy beside the girl.

Getting Zoroark
Take out the three shiny legendary pokemon and head to Route 16.You will see a junction.Take the north road to enter Lostlorn Forest.Move up until you see a truck.Ok,get ready to battle with Zoroark!

Tested on Pokemon Black & White(Europe) using desmume. Not sure about the North America version but I think it will work since both are English.

Edit:Links updated.

Tried this on the North American version a couple days ago and it worked. FYI, PokeGen allows you to add the pokemon as if the relocater transferred the event pokemon. This tutorial will be very helpful for those that didn't know this.

For the record, if you have a legit Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold or SoulSilver, plus an extra DS, you can just use the dumped Celebi distribution cart to get the event Celebi in the gen IV game, then use normal Poketransfer and send it over. I never used the Relocator or even unlocked it, and had no problem getting Zorua.

Great, just did it and it works

Do you also know of a way to do the Lock Capsule event? I know I can just Pokesav the TM95 in my game (but heck, everyone can also just Pokesav the Zorua and Zoruark), but for the completionists under us it would be great. Just using a Pokesavved Lock Capsule doesn't do the trick unfortunately.

The lock capsule event is not released.Maybe we need to modify the data of lock capsule in pokesav to make it work but the item can't be edited like the pkm files....

what exactly do you mean? put the retail DP/PL/HGSS game in one DS, and your flashcart with a rom of the dumped celebi cart in the other, then....? FYI I'm not familiar with the normal process of the celebi event or even what the cart was called O:

my current situation is I have a retail cart of Diamond, but only dumps of the later gen IV and gen V games on my EDGE. friends have DS's I could borrow. Hoping to get an as close to legit zorua/arks as possible. my friend has the event legendaries I believe, if he traded them to me, would it work? Would it be better for him to transfer to my Diamond, or my flashcart gen V game directly? (dunno if I can even use the relocator properly with only a rom of black/white) Thanks!

But yea, I have frogger arcade cabinet that I gutted and put a Pi4 then Pi5 into, but it never gets played much anymore, should sell it. Even when the kids come over, they don't want to play on it, just the xbox. TMNT and Simpson's arcade is still so fun on it, esp w 2 players.
