Note that being an infamous obvious troll gets your posts reported more, thus mods deal with you post-haste. People also tolerate you less and less. Someone else posting the same thing may very well get away with it. It's not discriminating or special treatment, most posts deleted are from reports. If a persons posts don't get reported...it's not as likely to be dealt with, unless I suppose a mod is actively posting in the thread.

People are used to you. I wouldn't be surprised if it was just a reflex to report your posts now.

Dude you're right. Thank you for showing me how racism doesn't actually affect the credibility of evidence. In fact, if anything, it ENHANCES it. I mean think about it. out of 11 pages, only TWO of em have the racism on it. So basically, that means NINE TIMES more FACTS than actual racism. Or something. Right ?

Even if it was like you say, the author being a racist doesn't invalidate any of his scientific ability.

It just makes him a sad poor person, but not a less capable researcher in any way.

No, only 2 pages out of 11 pertain to the subject of laws decided by race (or something, I didn't read it properly TBH, but it wasn't in a racist context, merely the terms the people were described in) as opposed to the 9 (including the title page) pages of physical effects of marijuana.

That paper wasn't just racist, it was horseshit. Sure, they're using the word coolie as a stand-in for "zombie slave" or something, but they're doing it in a hyperbolic way, and it wasn't necessary at all. Basically, giving credence to the word at all is borderline racism at the least. Sorry, I didn't read the whole thread, so Idunno if your suspension was valid or not. I trust my coworkers, but even I've been heavy handed in the past, so I know it *can* happen. Long story short, in the disparate group of mods, supers, and admins that we have here, if you have an issue, I'm sure you can find someone who'll talk calmly and rationally with you about it.

Thanks for the birthday wishes btw. I've been scarce around here of late, but I'm always glad to see old friends are still around.
