(first blog lol)
what kind of projects/things lined up do you guys have to do?
at the moment i have these things:
oops i forgot the (eink) kindle app i was going to put together, for remote page turning.
i have done something in the past that worked via ssh+wifi, but recently some people made more work because kindle supports usb otg, so we can more easily use mouses and keyboards. there is code already for page turning via a mouse, but i will customize it a bit more, add backlight control support and direction reversing (jp books are reversed compared to western books) - so a button press on the remote might go forward for a western book, but without reversing it would go back a page for a jp book.

at the moment i have these things:
- backup and reinstall my computer (i just want a clean install again - i will install ltsb)
- work more on my phantasy star nova save edtor SuperNova, uploading to github
- same with my atelier meruru one, that i never released
- set up my little router running openwrt to rsync my external server, i had it set up but i wiped it and forgot to put the scripts back on. my seedbox is full and i need to get stuff off it so i can leech more.
- continue having a little look at making any sense of how phantasy star online encrypts the save files, because i want to make a save editor for the game. it's not a checksum, but the whole savedata is encrypted lol - not normal for gamecube games. it involves looking in dolphin and asm stuff, even if i can't make much progress even a LITTLE would be cool just for a learning experience. i started it but forgot.
- finish my wip poc ineVitable homebrew (basically CIAngel for vita) - it's only wip code is ugly and poc because it won't even work for piracy YET, the pkg files will download from sony but because we don't have signature patching to ignore the broken rif files (like tickets), the games won't load/install. when henkaku is reversed and we get (more?) sig patches then it will be useful.
- finish getting graphics working in the mr driller port that i'm working on, i have maybe 70% finished the refactoring of the ugly old code (the code is not mine, the code is originally 16 years old) and the game works, but no graphics. the code was a mess and it's much nicer now. then i can add stuff like local co-op (very easy to add) then port to 3ds vita etc.
