Blur is sex...

I just got blur for PC, and it is Mario Kart on steroids... You HAVE to play this game. I thought it was bad originally until I played it.

How can it be compared to Mario Kart? It looks just like Need for Speed and other similar racing games.

That was my thought until I played the game... This game cannot be judged by pictures and videos alone, you have to try it first.

I have to try split/second first, but Blur seems to have better reviews so far.

Ironically, they were trying to avoid comments like "it's exactly like Mario Kart only 'edgy'"

Shut it! Pinky!

Lol, but seriously, it is one of those things you have bad expectations but it turns out great. As much as they tried to avoid the differences, it is very similar in terms of the main core, but the graphics, physics (not realistic, but cool) and the real life cars make it a sexy game.

I picked up split/second the other day and have been playing the hell out of it, its a great game. In my opinion Blur is completely boring in comparison to it.

Blur and Split Second are both terrific racing games!

Though, I'd have to say Split Second is more actiony, and fast-pased.
It's also easier on the computer.

But Blur is also great. It IS sorta like mario kart, except you actually get to stay ahead. blue shells lightning bolts are avoidable, and the AI isn't all that brilliant.

This. I actually managed to see it on the TV on Tuesday. :P

I'd use a black Shelby Mustang just to simulate Knight Rider. ;)

I'm the opposite I liked Blur and hated Split Second, the "power ups" (changing the environment etc) Came to often for me to like Split Second. It had a very arcade feel to it.

I agree completely.

IMO, Blur is a massive fail. I played it yesterday with my friend for 10 minutes, until we both agreed that it's crappy and switched to Mario Kart Wii, where we had a great time. Quite the opposite that Blur wants you to do, huh?

On the other case, we both played Split/Second for about 1 hour, and really enjoyed it. And that's only the Multiplayer, I've nearly completed the story :P. Great game.

And this is a bad thing? I think that was the point.
