should i cheat?

well, i promised to never cheat again and but i really don't like grinding very much because it seems like a chore when you're grinding too much, and bit by bit i lose interest in a game.

but the feeling of finishing a game using cheats isn't the same as finishing it w/o resorting to cheats.

Only cheated once and only because Tales of Innocence is one of the most tedious RPGs I've ever played but I really want to complete all Mothership titles. So if you wanna finish the game but lack the motivation, why the hell not?

Tedious in what way? You mean you were bad and had to grind? lol. With minor skill you can run through ToI without grinding at all on normal.

Anyways what game are you going to cheat on, and why is it such a moral debate?
If you feel like cheating, cheat. It's a singleplayer game, you're the only one who has to care if you cheat.

for now it's p3p. it's me being lazy.
while it's true that no one would probably care, i still want to ask for opinions if i should let my laziness into games.

i chose hard, i know i brought it upon myself, average battles are fine, but some boss battles are a bit hard, and i won't cheat all the way, it's just exp and/or money.
and i might get used to cheating and just cheat in every game, which i think is bad. and there isn't anyone here to stop me from cheating if i start doing so.

P3P is grindy. It's something you need to be in the mood for. If it isn't something you feel like doing, don't cheat. Just set it down and come back later.

P3P is...easy.
I was actually really disappointed by it. Atlus games usually kick my ass, but I picked hard and breezed through P3P.

my only problem is the grinding. tartarus seems boring that i want to use exp cheat.

@Nathan it's already on-hold for 2 or 3 weeks now. and this was one of the reasons i bought a psp. i still can't bring myself to continue this.

you don't need to grind, lol. I got so bored of the generic fights, I skipped a lot of them.

EDIT: Just take full control of your party. The AI isn't that smart.

yes i do get full control. but in some bosses i get KOed in 1 hit. if i make a mistake in the skills i use sometimes i die. need to repeat again.

i'm now on floor 72, lvl 27.

Have you played SMT: Devil Survivor?
If not, do it. You'll never be bad at turn based games ever if you can beat that damn game.

Cheat the shit out of it. Honestly, I have no idea how people like Persona. Such a boring game series.

It always just feels different if you end up cheating. If only everything of that sort wasn't as convenient, ya know?

I only cheat in Pokemon games. I give myself the pokemon I want (no, not the strongets ones, or even the remotely strongest ones. Just ones I like.) And I play through with them completely normally.

i did. and i cheated starting day 4 or 5.

well, making this thread and reading responses made me continue p3p. no cheats.

I onky ever cheat on a game that I've already completed (with a few exceptions ;))
This is why you shouldn't pick hard Mr "I-like-a-challenge" :ha:

+1 for no cheating (except with certain games e.g GTA San Andreas).

Cheating is A-OK

I cheat sometimes. Theres other cheats the infinite health or all weapons you know. Cheats that are fun to mess around with. In some games you need to cheat to get certain things that are otherwise unavailable (Pokemon)

B
I dont cheat......I only do it once I beat the game, use a guide however, at least you aren't exploiting variables in the game.

Nothings wrong with looking up help, nobody is going to point and laugh at you
