I just got a survey in the electronic emails from Marvel asking me about my digital comic habits.
As I was filling it out, I came across a section of questions where they were asking about digital comics obtained through P2P and torrents, so I was like "Oh cool, maybe they actually get it and are doing this to better compete in the digital age". Well, as the questions went on (and on and on and on) I started to notice something: They never ask WHY you would choose to download a comic through P2P or torrent. And after I answered a question "How long do you think it takes for print comics to appear through the digital store", I was shocked when the answer was SIX MONTHS.
The whole reason I don't use sites Hulu anymore is because shows are being delayed by a week or a month. Why should I bother waiting that long when there is a simpler, faster and better quality alternative?
Kind of funny that in the middle of the survey I had about 4 comics finish in uTorrent... 4 comics that won't be officially available until the end of September.
