Nintendo and Sony should release some of their games on PC

Ok, now bear with me here. If they do this, they will gain millions of users who would love to play their games on PC! This is an unlikely thing to happen, but I would love this to happen. What are your thoughts?

Honestly, I don’t see Nintendo doing this since the only real reason people buy Nintendo consoles is for exclusives, get rid of those and there’s no reason to buy a Nintendo console

People have spent the last thirty years complaining about Nintendo. Nintendo should find a way to make money off of all the people who think they know what Nintendo should do, I always say.

I mean, consider Sega: they've sold and re-sold all their old games so many times they're giving them away on mobile now.

As for Sony, they seem to be releasing plenty of their games and barely have any exclusives left. (There's really no reason I can see that they can't allow the re-release of the old Lemmings games on GOG. And they seem to have some sort of weird rights to the original Legacy of Kain game, which would sell plenty as well.)

Every Nintendo console/handheld since N64 they wouldn't even be considered good without exclusives. Exclusives are what make people buy Nintendo systems not the gimmicks and they're less powerful than PS/Xbox. if they put their exclusives on PC they may as well stop making systems and go 3rd party. That isn't going to happen.

Same thing from Sony although they let a few like Horizon be on PC but they won't ever put all their best exclusives on PC for the same reasons as Nintendo.

Microsoft owns PC so that's different.

Gamestreaming services... Pls daddy no

I'd like to see more console exclusive titles make their way to PC... Which seems to be the case with Sony for their older titles. Waiting on Sly Cooper collection for PC. Pls Sony wen?

Nintendo? They'd rather burn to the ground than see Mario running on PCs. The things you can do with BotW on CEMU would be small fry compared to a full blown PC port.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I think you only get like 425gb on a series s hard drive, so you get 1, 2 next gen games max
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, so you need to have another series s if you wanna play more games?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Nuh you buy extra HD n add to it, but not cheap
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, how can a console have more than 1 hard drives?
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
usb expansion? I know the PS4 can do this
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, oh Yea I recall my PS3 can do that
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Modded ofc
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Speaking of my PS3 i havent downloaded any games yet bc my wifi is too slow
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
and also because blackouts here are very common and that could damage the console
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
Do you have a surge protector or an UPS?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea but to play the next gen games, you must have those games on internal, or buy the official ssd expansion cards, which are expensive
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, dunno what each one of those are
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, my PS3 was already modded when my dad bought it for me and my brother
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
A surge protector is a device that protects your electronics from fluctuations. I recommend having your console plugged into one of those
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
An UPS is even better because it has an internal battery that keeps your system on even if the power goes out, but it's much more expensive obviously
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, oh i recall seeing one in some in the houses of some relatives, including my dad's apartment
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, although whatever device we plug into them stops getting power anyways lol
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
    that's weird
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, and oh i was talking about ups
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    No not that one
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Surge protectors are what i was talking about
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Yea I got confused for a bit
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
    @Xdqwerty literally juan:
    +1
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
On the series s/x you can use a external HD but any next gen games must be on your internal ssd, or you can buy a ssd expansion card, but pricey. Any xbone, 360, or og Xbox games can be played from external tho.
