The virus is terrible, it needs to end now, destruction of society is imminent.
I did get to play some games though, despite working about 13 hours every day and working out the rest of the time:
Trials of Mana:
-Great for nostalgia
-Gets too easy towards the end, stakes don’t feel as high as in the SNES one
Persona 5: Royale:
-Honestly didn’t feel that long, despite clocking like 100 hours.
-New stuff/extras were all great, enough to be worth a replay (assuming it had been 3 years since you played the original)
-New semester was good, but was exhausting to go through after playing through the entire original game.
-Never playing this again, lol
Ace Combat 7:
-Amazing, tons of fun, wish I had waited a week, as the deluxe version has been on sale ever since
-Awesome grind from weaker planes to crazy stealth fighters, you feel like a champ at the end
-Difficulty may be a turn-off for some, but it is way easier than older games in a similar genre
-Graphics and weather effects are sick, dogfighting is awesome, wish they would make a new X-Wing game, hahah
Injustice 2:
-It’s OK, very much the in-between MKX and MKXI game.
-who are all these people, where’s Spider-Man?!
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2:
-This game is OK, tough to judge how amazed I would have been by this if Sparking or DBFZ didn’t exist
-The attack animations look a little goofy from afar, like wtf is Buu doing
-Weren’t they going to release Heroes in the west? This game has a weird version of Heroes that you can play as a mini-game, but they should have the full version as it’s own game like on 3DS
Assassin's Creed Black Flag:
-First game in the series I played. I saw a friend play it a long time ago and figured I’d try it out when it was cheap enough.
-I doubt I can say anything that hasn’t already been said. I prefer a more sandbox game like Pirates!, but this is good. Not sure I’ll finish it.
I also finally learned how to play Tropico 6. What a great game! I love these strategy games, but damn if you don’t know how to play, you are at a serious disadvantage (and the tutorials do not help at all). They should include a little more explanation of how things work so that you don’t just bankrupt and never have a reference as to why.
