Yes, but I can see by the not English UI in your screenshot that you're not on a US Wii U, that's going to be the issue for you. You need to find where to put the file that contains the description information (file in questions is strings.json) for your region and language Wii U.

No, that's not normal, just double checked and my games don't do that. My guess would be that because you're not on a US English Wii U, that it's not pulling the descriptions from the same file location. Not sure where exactly you want to put the file in question, but I'm sure if you do a little searching and testing you can figure it out.
I guessed that's the reason. I'm on a EU ES Wii U and it does exactly that. No biggie, really, though it bothers me a little.

Can it be edited or text to be added to other regions and languages somehow? For european spanish i could translate the names of the layouts.

In addition, my kingdom hearts re had a scale2x image, when doing this procedure it went back to 1x.

Thanks you verymuch, this is amazing for pokemon hacked roms ! Is there an equivalent for gba roms ?
I don't believe any other system's VC games on the Wii U offered different screen layout options, so an equivalent for any VC and inject of systems other than DS games wont be a thing. However, you can edit VC games of other systems to remove dark filters if they have any, or give them an always stretched 16:9 display if they're typically 4:3. But since those are hardcoded, they wont be able to switch on the fly these displays within the UI of the VC games on the Wii U. But, what I do is have for example my N64 games display in 4:3 when launched on my Vanilla Wii U menu, yet if I launch those same games after having launched SDCafiine, they'll appear in a stretched 16:9 display

I had graphical issues with the ds hack rom "pokemon mindscrystal". Then I used your base rom and set the"configuration_cafe.json" with "RenderScale :2". And It works perfectly !
Actually an injection of a gba hack rom "pokemon eclat pourpre" is stuck on bios intro (<Game boy - Nintendo>), that's why I'm looking for a trick.
Thanks you for the tip with SDCafiine I'll take a look on its potential.

Na verdade, uma injeção de um gba hack rom "pokemon eclat pourpre" está travada na introdução da bios (<Game boy - Nintendo>), é por isso que estou procurando um truque.

Does this work with the original pokemon injected games? They too have problems.

hey there, i was wondering if there is a patch for injected DS/GBA games so they can use the wii u gamepad mic for things that required it, such as ace attorney or miles edgeworth games. is that possible? Thanks.

It essentially can be by using the SDcafiine plugin, and putting the file here in each DS game's respective place in their sdcafiine folder. Though I prefer just making it permanent via ftp. That way it can forever work on any cfw that way without any plugin needed.

Frankly what might make the most sense is if someone made an app like the theme installer so that you could patch any DS game you have installed with these additional layouts via a simple homebrew app.
