Millennials tend to get a bad rep for being a "horrible" gen, but Millennials got to experience the 90's and early 2000's while Gen Z'ers were born more or less with a phone/tablet in their hand. :(

See if you recognize these things and have fun.

1 Beta tape
2 piece of shit which probably includes crosley among the 100 brands with which it's available
3 picture unclear, but from the quantity of controls it's probably SVHS
4 gb boy colour, who are you fooling
5 should be a dreamcast but who ever saw a non-white one in the wild
6 a boring arcade because of the dark walls and no people, also lcd conversion alert on the right
7 for all we know the plain blue DD one on the left is Amiga warez
8 flat glass shit, lol purity errors even in the drawing
9 someone who could be bothered to put batteries in their home phone
10 looks like kids having fun outdoors (which had recently been made illegal)

Obscure format.

Novelty MP3 player (even says it on the case)

Neighbourhood shop CCTV recorder

Don't know my knockoff gameboys well enough to tell you what that one is.

I know the Sonic company used to make consoles. How wild is that?

Arcades still exist here.

Duh it is the save icon.

This is a retro games site. Course I know about low latency monitors.

The local shop has one of those as well.

Racism? Yeah I know about that.

I intentionally used custom consoles so they don't have their logos which gives it away. :P

It's sad that kids don't play outside anymore like it used to be, but there's also the worry they may be kidnapped even if you live in a good neighborhood. :(

It's one of those universal rules, 'every generation that isn't yours sucks'.

Doesn't matter if you're a Boomer, Gen X, Millennial, Gen Z, etc. The generation(s) before yours are a bunch of old farts whilst the generation after yours are a bunch of entitled aholes and everything they're into is ****.

1. Betamax cassette I think?
2. That's just a modern record player.
3. VHS player.
4. Bootleg Gameboy Color or Gameboy Pocket. Hard to tell.
5. Dreamcast.
6. An arcade.
7. Multiple 3.25inch floppy disks, of unknown capacities.
8. That's just a CRT. When will this get actually hard?
9. A landline business phone.
10. Having fun outside. We could all use some more of that in our lives..

Here, as someone born in 2006; this was easy as all hell. Like come on!

Laking drinking cups with lead based painting immediately disqualifies this effort.
Or TV with a cloth over it, protecting it from a vase.
Two sticks and a tire.

#2: Can't say I recognize this one, but considering it says "MP3" on it and it has USB and SD support, it's probably from the late 2000s. It could even be a currently sold product made to cash in on those who don't know better. It's some cheap crap version of a record player that hopefully nobody else recognizes either because nobody should own this thing. These things are literally e-waste.

#4: What the fuck is that cheap knockoff?

Me and wifey was deciding on our next vacation, so I hung up a map on the wall, and give her a dart and said, wherever you hit, we will go. She threw the dart and it missed the map completely and fell into a trash can below on floor. So I said "ok Florida it is."
