Hi!
First time modding a Wii. I completed it yesterday using an SD card. The install for everything (Homebrew channel, USBLoader gx, Priiloader and emulators) went smoothly and everything was functional. I followed an in depth tutorial and made sure everything with the IOS, downloads, NAND, all that junk was correct. One of the first things I did was use USBLoader to download some of the Wii/GC games I have on disc onto my menu there. Was successful, games for both Wii and GC were playable and all that.

Today, something weird happened. While literally just sitting in the USBLoader menu, my Wii games disappeared, but the GC games did not. The space taken up did not change; still said it was taken up by the games I had downloaded. I checked to make sure I had not changed any settings, and that the “Wii games” under the 4th icon was checked. I put the SD card in my computer and deleted the files to try again. Now, if I try to redownload any of the Wii games again, it takes the same amount of time and says it was successful, but nothing shows up on the SD card or in the USBLoader menu.

For real, I have no idea what happened lol. Any advice, happened to anyone else before?

Important notes:
-GC games are all entirely functional
-Everything else on the Wii, in Homebrew channel, and on the SD card is entirely functional
-After they vanished initially, they still appeared in my SD card when plugged into the computer
-Yes, I have tried resetting/restarting the Wii. A lot, lol.
-I went back through the Wii homebrewing guides I had followed step by step and everything seemed correct
-Date is correct on my Wii.

Thanks y’all!

yeah those sticks can be a pain, a lot of the time you can't change the firmware or do much with them. Sometimes you can mod them and install like Batocera but it's not common.
