Homebrew LeafEdit font help / ACNL save editor alternatives?

Okay, so I got LeafEdit, but the software asks me for a font.bcfnt file which I do not have.
I assume I have to get it from the game itself somehow, but I do not know how, nor do I know if it’s downloadable online.

Alternatively, do you know of any other 3DS software used to edit save file of ACNL? I know about the on-line save editor, but I am not always able to access the PC.

You will also note that LeafEdit was discontinued. It is absolutely possible to irreversibly corrupt your game with it, so you'd better be sure to make backups.

I have the vague impression that ntr plugins are popular for making changes within the game.
