Hello all, would be nice if people posted here if anyone receives a ban from AC:NH.
  • Those who have traded items from a hacked switch to a legit switch:
  • Was your hacked switch banned before?
  • Is your hacked switch banned now?
  • Did your legit switch get banned?
  • What kind of items did you trade?
  • Were the items unavailable in the game?
  • Did you use Bells/Nook Cheats?
  • Did you use a Save Editor?
  • Which version of ACNH did you use?

I've never been switch banned before. Nothing banned.

I traded many items and even use ACPoker whilest friend we're visiting my island. I used noclip, even spawned bells and items and dropped them to my friends.

I didn't trade any items that aren't available normally.

Yes, I did cheat Bells and Nook miles via a save editor.

Always been using the latest version of ACNH and just using my SYSNAND to play online lol

Hi guys, I modded my switch yesterday and I would like to know which way is the safest to play online with modded AC (I have a original copy of the game, not NSP).

I don't know if it's better to extract files > modify on nhse > save > inject with jksv on EmuNAND and play online with cfm. (I was told to NEVER go online with cfm but I'm pretty confused rn).

Or extract files from EmuNAND > modify on nhse > save > inject with jksv on SysNAND (dunno if it's possible) and play online with ocm (but in this case I was told to not "dirt" the Sys).

Sorry, I know maybe this is not the best place to ask but I tried everywhere and didn't received clarifications ;;

Yep, the game is original but I would like to mod the island (like with flower underwater and cliff bridges..) and play online (only with recommended friends).

So did you play online all the time on Emu cfm and didn't get banned?

Has anyone used cheats on a legit player's island yet on 2.0? I know before you could spawn items while playing on a legit player's island as long as you were in LAN and the legit player wouldn't get banned, was wondering if that changed since the latest update.

Hope everyone is enjoying the 2.0 content.

So I've checked this thread and it doesn't seem like anyone was banned for editing nook mile achievements, recipe list, and creature catalogs with NHSE, but should I still be worried if I do this? Thinking of transferring a save on emunand to a clean switch. Secondly, how do y'all play a legitimate copy of ACNH on emu? Game updates don't transfer over, so it won't let me play. It seems that updates can be downloaded with Tinfoil, but I've heard that can corrupt your emu somehow, especially their Incognito mode which scrubs your system information to prevent banning.

You can update your game with the legal switch, there is an option to transfer the update

I NEED to get this question off my chest but I currently transfered my modded save from my old semi-modded switch to my clean switch lite and this is my question, can I get banned playing it online on the new switch?

I wonder if that was the point of game streaming
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    But it's a dead end
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Psionic Roshambo, people who cant download it can still play the game
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

@BigOnYa, why did you start saying my pc has a hamster in the first place?

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
