    Cheers mate,I'd nearly givin up getting this to work with my HDD,making the 1st partition primary has done the trick,btw I used configurable usb loader and super mario sunshine to test it and its working fine...now I just have to find where I put all those gamecube discs!

    Afaik you can do everything on 4.0 that you can do on lower fw's except there is no twilight hack for it at present and therefore you would need to have already installed the HBC before upgrading.

    lmfao...bet its a power thing as nearly every WD Drive seems to work,my WD 250 beves wouldnt work in an external case that had its own power supply,I bought a Small external case today that is USB powered and its working great.
