The sky3ds card worked very similar. It's now I got cubic ninja running back in the day to modify my system The SD card is simply replacing the storage. The storage on cartridges is not signed but the files etc themselves are.
Sorry to derail the tread, but I'm shocked this is a working method. I thought GunCon 2's and HDTV's were completely incompatible.
A friend of mine had a "PCSX2 and Nuvee" setup back in the day that was more proof-of-concept than playable...
Yes you are correct! Apologies. Yes it is a ps2 lightgun game also. I just modded my ps2 but have sadly learned that most lightgun games don't operate with a HDTV and have to use CRT due to the nature of the way the gun picks up the screen. Sucks
Nah. I looked in my big box of old games and I found Dino Stalker for the ps2 that was a guncon game. fun but hard...
Also found Resident Evil Dead Aim, another ps2 guncon game.
I'm going o have to dig out my ps2...
Sounds like you created a short / don't know how to operate a multimeter. OL means overload/ over limit depending on manufacturer, and if it originally read over limit (you never said over limit on what. Resistance? Voltage? Current? Impedance?)...
Would suggest changing the HDMI retimer IC also. If its shorting to ground somehow you would get impedance like that. Have had to change a couple already however they are generally pretty robust compared to earlier revisions of xbox
I may try the new ram site, and download more RAM to my Switch. Not sure if ddr3 is the right ram
for it tho. Edit- no it uses floppy Ram, just like @AncientBoi
