NOTE: The original guide is completely outdated now. Just use Decrypt9's 'keep a9lh' option to flash emunand backups to sysnand and you're good to go.
But if you really want to use this guide as currently written for some reason, here it is I guess:
The only other thread I saw about Netflix was closed by a mod who said that there was already a topic about it. But when I searched, there wasn't any discussion at all here. Whatever...
Anyway, the only reason they're making it disc-based is because the 360 has exclusive rights to a dashboard...
You know the drill—someone managed to screw something up while upgrading or downgrading the System Menu or applying an update. He makes a frantic plea on the board looking to see if there's anything he can do with a Wii that no longer has a System Menu. Inevitably someone will come along and say...
I recently downloaded MPlayer CE 0.7 and am having some odd issues with the cIOS installer. I installed it and it wouldn't recognize my USB HDD, though other USB2.0 capable homebrew did. When I tried reinstalling it I noticed it was only taking IOS36 files from my SD Card instead of downloading...
So the various downgrade guides usually have you install IOS16 or downgrade IOS35 so you can install cios_fix, which is then used to run downgrader applications. My understanding is that cios_fix is a really old version of cIOS (like Rev5 or something), so couldn't one just install a wad of cIOS...
I've only heard horror stories of those unable to reinstall the HBC and such as a result of reformatting. Has this ever helped anyone? If not, why do people do it and why do others suggest that they reformat?
I think dumping too many games at a time can be hard on things. My Okami dump suddenly wasn't loading, so I redumped it and now it works. Then when I tried to launch Brawl the same thing happened so I'm reinstalling it at the moment. After this dump I won't be installing anything for a while so...
Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.
I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
