You clearly haven't seen the trailer. It's not "lazy and uncreative". Watch the trailer and notice the artstyle. It's not lifeless.
You can't have watched the trailer if you're calling it "lazy and uncreative". Be grateful that we're getting a playable Yoshi (alongside the rest of the cast) and...
I'm so glad we're getting a unique 2D Mario platformer for once. Plus Yoshi's playable alongside the standard cast of playable characters, and Daisy is finally playable! Definitely going to play it.
Can a translation patch, e.g. for the PAL version of Super Mario World, convert a PAL ROM into an NTSC ROM which is compatible with ROM hacks made for the NTSC version of the game, or do I need to just find an actual NTSC game cartridge to dump instead?
Nothing today yet, but I can tell you about yesterday. I was playing Newer Super Mario Bros. Wii in Dolphin on my toaster, and I accidentally clicked "stop emulation". I was on the level right before the castle. So yeah, I had lost all my progress after beating the tower. That ticked me off, and...
Sorry for the late reply, but thanks for all the help! I'm going to rip some of my GBA games and play them on a New 3DS XL once I can get one and hack it.

Oh my god, this is so awesome. WIDESCREEN, 60FPS, 1080P, ON MY PC!!! AND MUCH BETTER THAN EMULATION BECAUSE MY PC IS A TOASTER!!!
(but I don't have the game, sadly... gotta get a real N64 cartridge and dumper to feel okay playing this lol :()
Can't wait for the inevitable power outage where it's initially funny because I have half of my apartment on UPSes, then I realize I have literal minutes to start shutting down all of my servers.
The switch emulators on pc rely on your CPU mostly, and they only use a single core, so GPU not as important as a good CPU. I don't use switch emulator, but many here do, and willing to help.
