Ripping GBA games via DS Lite with Ace3DS+ cart?

Hello, I have a 208-in-one Ace3DS+ cartridge, a 2DS, and some GBA games. I don't have a DS Lite, though. So I would like to know if the cart will work on a DS Lite, and if I can use it to dump GBA ROMS from a game pak in the GBA slot.

I believe there's a tool called GBA Backup Tool for the DS, which you can indeed use to dump your GBA games to your flashcard.

I remember using that tool a lot to flash 100% save files to my game cartridges. Good times.
