Just installed the new case fan. Didn't make any difference in CPU temp

But it definitely is spinning. I installed it as an exhaust. But I cleaned out the CPU fan and heatsink and the peak temperature dropped 20C!

Also look at what thermal paste you use on the CPU. If you can, grab some Arctic Silver thermal paste. It should lower the temps by at least 5-7 degrees.
Have you got an 80mm fan at the front to push the air in with the 80mm fan at the rear as an exhaust? Sometimes it can cause air flow clog with no front fan pushing the air to the back.

I don't have an intake fan installed. My case has no mounting place for one, is there anything I can do? There are also no side vents for a fan duct. I am able to get arctic silver thermal paste, but is aus$15 including shipping worth it?

I rather enjoy a life of taking it easy. I haven't reached that life yet though.
BakerMan @ BakerMan: truth be told, i agree with psi, i dislike both candidates, but i'd probably vote trump simply...
