Announcing a new preview release for Panda3DS, a 3DS emulator for Windows, Mac and Linux

Hi! It is me, the panda guy, making my first post after you all taught me how to use this site!

We're back once more with a new preview release of Panda3DS, improving a lot over the initial beta. You can get it here: https://github.com/wheremyfoodat/Panda3DS/releases/tag/v0.2-beta

New features include:

- MUCH better compatibility due to lots of emulation fixes
- Graphical improvements (Mostly proper dual screen support, fixed graphics bugs, and more)
- Performance improvements
- Better user experience (hotkey support, drag n drop, and more)
- Support for optional Discord RPC
- Support for more 3DS file formats
- MacOS app bundles!
- Better working Linux builds this time
- Action Replay cheat code support which is sadly disabled in the UI for now due to some bugs
- WIP community compatibility list, linked in the readme
- And more!

Also happy to announce that we're working on other interesting features, such as more emulation features, a Vulkan renderer and more!

It's always nice to see an alternative to Citra, having more than one active emulator for a console is always a great thing

Hopefully updates for this emulator come out more frequently than actual baby pandas.
...Because those things take ages, which is why they were previously seen as endangered.

is the blurry bug still present in monster hunter stories?
it's literally unplayable in citra due to that bug

The developers at DeSmuME are not going to like the fact that bugs are fixed in Pokemon games.

because.. people aren't going to use desmume to play the..... 3ds pokemon games?

i don't see the relation or why they'd be angry

The lawsuit shook things up a decent bit for all of us in various ways, but otherwise yes. Improving compatibility and such is still being worked on (I just made a PR even, https://github.com/wheremyfoodat/Panda3DS/pull/438, but I can't merge new PRs until some other stuff is settled...)
