It's a toss up in all honesty. I have gotten about a dozen controllers over the last few months and most are sooooooo poorly taken care of. If you don't mind taking an hour or so, and have the necessary tools), get a few for cheap (genuine ones) and get yourself some replacement thumbsticks. Most will come back to life with a little TLC and a lot of cleaning. Just be aware that most replacement sticks are for xbox one. Those will not fit on a 360 controller. Look in the description to make sure they are for the 360.
