Hi everyone,

I've been following the forums for a while now and I can keep up with all the USB Loaders, but I noticed that there are many WBFS programs for PC made by various users and all of their names are similar (I'm pretty sure there's more than one WBFS manager). My question is which one of the programs is the best, and can do the following:

- Place backups from the computer onto the HDD
- Format the HDD to WBFS.
- Is updated to fix the problem when deleting games from the HDD that new files are corrupted.

I know that all programs have different pros/cons and that users put alot of time into their programs, I just want to know which ones can accomplish these 3 things. Currently I'm thinking about using WBFS Manger 2.2.1, from what I understand it is updated to fix the corruption problem.

edit: I understand that the USB Loader formats the HDD, the WBFS program doesn't have to be able to do this but if it does, it's an added bonus

I hope you realize that most, if not all, of these GUI programs are graphical wrappers to a program called "wbfs.exe". There are a couple of flavors of this "wbfs.exe": one based on Cygwin and one is a full Windows port. This utility is a command line tool and it will allow you to do the three things that you listed. The GUIs give you the additional features such as multiple files selection, batch operations, channel generation, etc...

Here's a link to the basic "wbfs.exe" util with the fix:

As far as the "best" is concerned, just download (the GUIs) all and try them to see what you like best.
