Hacking Can i update my N3ds emunand to latest update?

Hello,

Been a while since i've been in the scene. I'm using rxtools coldboot method on my N3ds. Am i safe to update it to the latest? Will rxtools work with it?

I appreciate any help on the matter

Do i need to use the latest rxtools build, or is the old stable one fine? And why not for long?

rxTools will work with 11.0, but you might start considering to switch since rxTools is not being maintained anymore.

I tried to update my 3ds emunand with arm9loaderhax from 9.2 to the latest and it said an error occured.I treid multiple creating new emunands and updating but it didn't work.

You sure you're not blocking the update servers (with tubehax or otherwise)?

I unzipped everything from Luna3DS to the root of my SD card and added the path for Luna3DS in CtrBootManager. It results in a screen with a bunch of horizontal lines. Am i not putting the files in the correct location?

What does your boot.cfg look like? And what firmware are you on (on SysNAND)?

You need to put the luma folder and Luma3DS.dat on the root of your sd card, then put the 3ds folder on your sd card. Then rename your homebrew launcher boot .3dsx file (or whatever you named it when you installed CTR Boot Manager) to HBL.3dsx. CREATE A BACKUP OF YOUR BOOT.CFG FILE BEFORE DOING THIS INCASE THE CODE DOESNT WORK! Then with notepad++ copy this code

    },

then highlight all the code in your boot.cfg file and press ctrl+v. You should be good to go.
